We can do both. If you already have a dash cam we are happy to install it for you, provided it is suitable for proper hardwired installation. If you would prefer us to supply the system, we can recommend reliable options from brands such as Thinkware and Nextbase based on your vehicle and how you want the camera to work.
Can dash cams be hardwired so they work when the vehicle is parked?
Yes. Many dash cams can be hardwired into the vehicle so features such as parking mode operate correctly. This allows the camera to monitor the vehicle when it is parked and record if an impact or movement is detected. Hardwiring also avoids messy power cables running to the cigarette socket.
Will there be visible wiring after installation?
No. Wherever possible all wiring is hidden behind interior trim panels so the installation looks clean and factory fitted. The aim is for the dash cam to blend into the vehicle interior without loose or visible cables.
Do you install front and rear dash cams?
Yes. We install both front only systems and front and rear dash cam setups. A front and rear system records both directions and is often the preferred choice for drivers who want full coverage while driving and when parked.
How long does a dash cam installation take?
